Most web browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Samsung’s Internet, Safari and Dolphin, let you create shortcuts to your favorite websites from your home screen. When you tap one of these shortcuts, the website will open in the browser you used to create it.
If you frequently visit ROOK Connect on your smartphone or tablet, you might want to save the link in a shortcut, as if it were an application.
Step 1: Launch web browser
Launch “Safari” app. This does not work from the “Chrome” app.
Step 2: Visit the website
The first thing to do is visit the page that you want as a shortcut icon.
Step 3: Tap the middle icon
Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a dropdown menu.
Step 4: Add it to your home screen
Now press the icon with a plus sign which reads “Add to Home Screen”.
Step 5: Choose what to name it
Choose what to name the shortcut and press “Add”.
Step 6: Home Page Icon
Now you’ll be able to see your company’s icon on the home page. Clicking this will take you directly to your software.
Step 1: Visit the website

Step 2: Open the menu
When the page has loaded, click on the icon at the top right of your screen to display the menu with all available options.
Step 3: Add it as a shortcut
Now find and click on the “Add to Home Screen” option, and you will create the shortcut as an icon on your desktop.
Step 4: Home Page Icon
Now you’ll be able to see your company’s icon on the home page. Clicking this will take you directly to your software.
